David Robertson
David Robertson has been a Darling Downs grazier for 13 years and is owner operator of Robertson Farm Engineering. David has extensive experience at mechanical engineering, and has designed and manufactured a range of Agricultural machinery including mounted harrows and grain handling equipment. He has used this skill and experience to test and refine the design of the Quad Bar. He and his wife, Sandy, have established QB Industries who are responsible for the manufacture and marketing of the Quad Bar.
ATVOE
Together Robert and David have formed ATVOE which holds the intellectual property rights to the Quad Bar.
Robert Parkinson
Robert stems from SW Queensland where he spent his childhood on the Barcoo River. He spent 8 years contract mustering in the Gulf and Northern Territory. The Quad bar was inspired through witnessing too many accidents by using quad bikes in some pretty rough country and being involved in a few accidents himself. “We put a few blokes on the rescue helicopter that were lucky to survive after being pinned underneath a Quad bike” Robert has since spent 12 years as a grazier, the past 5 on the Darling Downs, were he continues to use Quad bikes (fitted with a Quad Bar) in his day to day operations.
